Welcome to a work in progress!
This week's theme is progress. I'm learning that starting a business is messy, there's lots of ups and downs and LOTS to learn. It does feel like a one step forward and a few steps back sometimes but if I can make a little bit more progress each week, I've achieved something.

I'm not a photographer or a model - but it's exciting that there's something to show. Here's a snapshot of some of the pieces to choose from at my upcoming launch.
The fear of failure is real but what's keeping me going is the love of a challenge and personal growth. This blog is a place to summarise my reflections on the past week, both the ups and the downs, and make an action plan for the week ahead. Hopefully, when looking back at each new post - we'll be able to see each little bit of progress made along the way.
The week in review...
This week I felt a little bit more confident that things are starting to come together. I managed to lock in a few supplies and a pencil in a new venue for an upcoming workshop... and I updated my website.
This week I'm reading:
The Healing Season of Pottery by Yeon Somin - I've just started listening to the audiobook, it seems like a nice story about a young woman in South Korea and the healing power of community and pottery. Right up my alley!
Potters Save the World by Yulia Makliuk - food for thought, right at the beginning of my venture. Read about Yulia here, she seems pretty impressive!
Action plan...
Next week I'll be putting some finishing touches on the plans for launch day in a few weeks and gearing up for my first market stall! I'm SUPER excited to announce that I will be at the Goode Market - an annual Christmas market held at Pioneer stadium pm Sunday 30th November.
Check it out here.

Have a lovely weekend, be well.
